Summer 5:30 AM · Winter 6:00 AMThe first aarti of the day, held at dawn. It is an auspicious (mangal) awakening that fills the whole day with Mahadev's blessings.

Summer 7:00 PM · Winter 6:30 PMAt dusk, as day meets night, lamps and bells fill the Dham. It is the most loved aarti, and the best time to come with family.

Daily 8:00 PMThe gentle last aarti, offered as the Lord is put to rest for the night. It is a quiet, peaceful close to the day before the doors shut.
How to Take Part in the Aarti आरती में सम्मिलित होने की विधि
Everyone is welcome to join. A few simple customs help keep the Dham peaceful for all.
- Arrive 10 minutes early
Remove your footwear, wash your hands and find a place calmly before the aarti begins.
- Sing along
Join in with "Om Jai Shiv Omkara" and clap gently with the rhythm of the bells.
- Receive the aarti flame
When the lamp comes to you, pass both palms over the flame and touch them to your eyes and head.
- Keep phones silent
Let the sanctum stay peaceful. Take prasad with gratitude before you leave.

What are the aarti timings at Shiv Parmarth Dham?
In summer (March to October), Mangla Aarti is at 5:30 AM, Sandhya Aarti at 7:00 PM and Shayan Aarti at 8:00 PM. In winter (November to February), Mangla Aarti is at 6:00 AM, Sandhya Aarti at 6:30 PM and Shayan Aarti at 8:00 PM.
What time does the temple open and close?
In summer the temple opens at 5:00 AM and in winter at 5:30 AM. It is closed for bhog from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, reopens at 4:00 PM and closes for the night at 8:30 PM.
Is the temple closed in the afternoon?
Yes. The doors are closed for bhog and rest from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM throughout the year.
Do timings change on festivals?
Yes. On Maha Shivratri, Navratri, Purnima and other festivals, darshan and aarti timings may change. Please check the Events page or call +91 90502 64010 before your visit.
Which aarti should I attend if I can come only once?
The Sandhya (evening) Aarti is the most popular. It is at 7:00 PM in summer and 6:30 PM in winter. Arrive about 10 minutes early to find a place and join in the singing.
